PCMC – K-CET/JEE- FAQs

Can PCMC students write JEE?

Yes. The eligibility criteria for the JEE exam is that you should pass 12th grade with PCM combination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as main subjects.

Is PCM compulsory for KCET?

By taking equal marks in Qualifying exam and CET in PCM Subjects. By taking marks obtained in NATA entrance exam. Candidates should have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and Biology as optional subjects. Candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as an optional subject.

Is K-CET enough for engineering?

Yes, it is possible to get admission in B. Tech in Karnataka without KCET score where the scores of some other engineering exams are taken into consideration.

Is PCM required for JEE?

Yes, you are definitely eligible for JEE mains and iisc Exam as you have maths in your intermediate. If you have studied Physics, Chemistry and Maths (as additional) then you can give JEE mains.
